A home should blend into it’s environment… even perhaps… be an improvement upon the landscape.
Log cabins, especially in the Winter, succeed in doing just that.

Joseph, there are SO many variables… I would think that you could quite possibly build this cabin yourself, doing all the labor, seeking out all the materials, and employing basic amenities… wood stove heat for instance… for less than 100k. And on the other end of the spectrum you could put 500k in it by having someone else do all the work and choosing only the most expensive options (the last home I built the owner chose a heating system that it alone cost over 100k (a combination of geothermal, solar, and in-floor radiant)
