A cabin begins with a pile of logs.
From there, it’s just one step at a time.
Those days of building will give you many wonderful memories.

that you can call home.

What about cypress logs.? The two relatives I have other log homes have extensive rot problems.
Josh, I would think Cypress logs would be great to use. They are not a species of tree that I’ve ever worked with (other than siding on a couple of occasions), so I can’t speak to how they would work… hew and notch… but without a doubt Cypress is known for it’s rot resistance.
