This cabin looked good when it was built… 1820’s.
It looked good in when the photo was taken.. 1920’s
And, it looks good today.
I guess that makes it timeless?

Once you have a log home like that, I don’t think people mind taking care of them. I don’t know if the original builder intended it to be that way, but I think its true. People today who have them to live in. don’t mind keeping care of them. Its like having a a rare antique automobile. When Isit on porch having coffee or supper, I never ever get tired of looking at hewn logs, and daubing. Its not like looking at plastic. It is amazing how these trees were cut down by hand, hewn by hand, and still stand in a home.
