Would you want to have a tree this close to your house?
I do love my trees. But, I’d be mighty nervous during a lighting storm in this little cabin.
And, if the tree were ever to be blown over, and for some reason it didn’t fall on the house, we all know that the root ball of a pine tree spreads wide and would likely lift the end of the house off of the ground.
But still, the tree adds so much to the charm of this house… it is what makes it unique… so how about you? keep it? or cut it?

I would definitely get rid of that.
Its a tree rat highway (red squirrels). My other place the trees were close to my house, and the tree rats chewed through the facia boards to get into the attic space.

A tree house or tree fort is a platform or building constructed around, next to or among the trunk or branches of one or more mature trees while above ground level. Tree houses can be used for recreation, work space, habitation, observation or as temporary retreats.
Cut it down. It’s only going to get bigger and more dangerous.
