Now isn’t this a fine place to come upon. 🙂
I’ve always found that a stone home with three windows across it’s front presents a formal, grand, impression. But a home with only two windows seems to be more like a cottage, more inviting, more intimate.

Thats a really good observation about the two windows. I really love the plaster detailing over the stone, which has slowly over time flaked or worn off. I have noticed on some of the newer boxes they build with a Tuscon flare, that they basically stucco the walls and glue some faux stone here and there and call it good. You really have to be an artist and craftsman to simulate this look.
I’d love to see someone master that technique…. it would look great, save a lot of labor.. and money. But I’ve yet to see it work.
